American Heritage Girls is a character development program designed for fun, Christian social interaction with the purpose of learning life skills. Therefore we place our girls by age first then by grade.
Pathfinders
Pathfinders is our program for our youngest members. Our Kindergarten members enjoy a program all their own with a necklace to build as they learn about our nation and our community. Girls also earn beads for service to their friends and family.
At the end of Pathfinders the girls earn the Eliza Shirley Level award.
Girls must be 5 on or before October 31st.

Tenderheart
Our next unit is our 6-8 year olds. They are generally from 1st through 3rd grade. This age group starts earning badges to place on their bright red vests!
During her time in Tenderhearts, a girl has the opportunity to earn the Sacagawea Level Award.
They also earn blue Service Stars for service to their families and communities.

Explorers
Explorers are our 9-11 year olds. They are generally in 4th through 6th grade. They are earning badges to go on their navy blue vests!
During her time as a Explorer, a girl has the opportunity to earn the Lewis and Clark Level Award.
They also earn red Service Stars for service to their families and communities.

Pioneer
Pioneers are our 12-13 year olds. They are generally in 7th and 8th grade. At this level, the girls get to place their badges on a sash.
They have to opportunity to earn the Harriet Tubman Level Award and earn white Service Stars for service to their families and communities.

Patriots
Patriots earn their red shirts. They are our 14-18 year olds and are generally in 9th through 12th grade.
Girls have the opportunity to earn the Dolley Madison Level Award and earns gold Service Stars for service to their families and communities. They also complete a Religious award. This can be the P.R.A.Y award, the AHG Spiritual Award or one that is provided by the member's denomination.
The Patriots also have a choice to follow the Stars and Stripes track and earn the most prestigious awards a girl can earn in American Heritage Girls, The Stars and Stripes Award.
